My Story in Images

Exposition: New York. We meet Lizbeth Parker, 17. Her brother disappeared five months ago but they still haven't found him. She is willing to risk everything just to find him.

Rising Action: We learn that Lizbeth is a stubborn teenager and desperate to find her younger brother. Her mother is depressed and her dad left them when she was only five years old. Lizbeth has to take care of her mother, work, go to school, and find her brother. Lizbeth's dream is to go to Harvard, but her grades are dropping because she has so many things to do that she barely has time to do school work.

Climax: Lizbeth finds clues of where her brother might be, but she doesn't know if he is still alive or not. She finds the shirt he wore when she last saw him and gets closer to finding the truth.

Falling Action: Lizbeth is so close to finding her brother, but something isn't right. She finds an old newspaper in her mother's room and it says something about a body of a young boy they found in New York. Lizbeth waits for her mom to come home but she never does.

Non-Resolution: Lizbeth sees a young boy walking on the street who looks like her brother and she follows him. He turns around and Lizbeth goes pale.
