My Story in Images

(subject to change)
Exposition
We learn of Richard, 25, who is troubled by his past and can't seem to forget about what happened all those years ago. He often flashes back to moments in his childhood while working at his boring desk job and wishing to change his actions.

Rising Action
In his boring office job, he normally gets pushed around to do the dirty work since he has little self-confidence. These events usually spark flashbacks to when he was getting bullied. Specifically, when his friend stepped in to help him while getting threatened to get beat up, and he ran off, deserting him. Actions like these haunt him, wishing he could change the way he acted.

Climax
Suddenly, he stands up for himself. Even though getting bullied in an office job is incredibly lame, he needs to start somewhere. He fends off his coworkers and makes a name for himself. In other areas of his life, he also stops being submissive and speaks out for himself.

Falling Action
Richard revels in his "victory", treating himself to treats as he feels accomplished with his life. However, somehow he doesn't feel complete. He realizes that changing his actions won't affect the past at all, and somehow he had thought he could magically go back in time to fix his old mistakes. He tears himself apart at once as he finally comes to the realization that he can only change his actions now.

Resolution
Richard goes back to his old middle school and lies down on the pavement. Everything, he thinks, is fleeting and nothing is permanent. He can't seem to find peace with the way he acted and can't forget about it. The story ends because it's a non-resolution.
