My Story in Images

Mind the Gap
Exposition: Paul Clark waits at an Underground stop on his commute to work. We see his displays of compulsive actions and are told about his family and job.

Rising Action: Ellen sits down next to Paul and they start exchanging small talk about their families and where they are going. They both are facing a lot of problems in their lives, Paul is facing a divorce due to stress caused by his disabled daughter and possibly and financial gain. His wife wants to take full custody of their daughter Lyla.

Climax: We learn Ellen is contemplating killing herself.

Falling Action: Paul attempts to talk Ellen out of it, get her to talk about the good things in her life, she makes him realize how much is wrong with his and what is good about his.

Resolution: Paul gets up and gets ready to board the train alone. Ellen is gone because she is not real, she is Paul's emotional side and represents his loneliness because he feels that he is not allowed to express any emotions to anyone but himself.
