Victor feels abandoned and alone in his own thoughts. Despite having his family just outside his door, Victor feels like he is the only one that recognizes that there is a problem within his family.
Despite constant problems that plague Victors family, they are able to stick together. When Victor see's his uncles fight, he is amazed at how one brother stops and lifts up the other brother to his feet. Victors realizes that his family is held together by few fibers of love.
Even though great turmoil, Victor goes on a journey to find his parents through the sea of confusion which is the party.
After finding his parents, Victor realizes that his parents have also suffered the same way he has suffered.
Victor can finally relax, forget about his situation, and go to sleep with his parents. This time, he isn't sleeping alone.
