Exposition:
Spokane Indian Reserve, winter of 1976 Victor has woken up from a nightmare, and is waiting for his parents New Years party to end so he can sleep in peace.
Rising Action:
Victor watches his uncles fighting and prepares himself to go out and stop them. Victor is observant and realizes that most of the people at the party are all felling some kind of pain.
Climax:
Victors goes out of his room searching for his parents to make sure they are all ok. He becomes emotional and beings to cry as he asks people where his parents are.
Falling action:
Victor finally finds his parents. He finds comfort from his thoughts by lying down in between them.
Resolution:
Victor finally falls asleep in between his parents. The party is over and all the guests leave.
